HOW DID YOU RAISE THE MONEY REQUIRED FOR THE MISSIONS TRIP?

I saved the money up.

WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO COME ON THE 2007 PHILIPPINES MISSIONS TRIP?

I thought it would be a great experience and that it would boost my spirit in God.

WHAT ARE THE SORTS OF THINGS YOU ARE EXPECTING TO SEE/RECEIVE FROM GOING ON THE MISSIONS TRIP?

I am expecting to see blessings and different things that you don't see in Australia. I am expecting to receive new friends.

WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL BE THE BEST THING ABOUT THE MISSIONS TRIP?

Everything really. Meeting new people, haivng more confidence, becoming a successful Christian and learning new things.

WHAT ABILITIES/TALENTS DO YOU HAVE THAT YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE ACTIVITIES THAT THE MISSIONS TEAM WILL BE PARTICIPATING IN?

Choreographing and performing dances, acting in skits, singing in songs and sharing my testimony and children stories.

WHAT ABILITIES/TALENTS DO YOU HAVE THAT YOU THINK CAN BE IMPROVED BY GOING ON THE TRIP?

Most likely to be Public Speaking and having more confidence.

Hellooooooo ! How’s everyone over there? Hope everything’s okay in Australia. Weeeeeeell, over here, it’s just, AMAZING. It’s just what I expected but, BETTER. =)

It’s really really really reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally cool. I’ve learnt new things, met new faces, learnt new experiences. Arriving in Manila was just like a rest period. We didn’t do any ministry. Just slept, ate, talked and walked.

Arriving in Legazpi, everyone was already so friendly. People here are so full of ENERGY.

As we went to 2 outreaches, were really different compared to each other. At PNR, we started off with sharing our testimonies and messages. Later on that day, we spent the rest of the day with the children. It was really mint, we could just muck around with the kids. I shared one of my children’s stories as Jenny and Jerome acted it out, we sang childrens songs, showed the puppets and just laughed all day long.

In Guinobatan, was just me and Jenny leading Bible study with the elders. Jenny shared a message and I shared my testimony.

Sunday services here are really good. But youth rally was just the most AWESOMEST thing so far. We jumped and screamed around. All the youthies were just so ENERGETIC. It’s such a good blessing.

Hiiiiiii ! How are you all over there ? Well, I’m having a great time here. Well, I’m going to be having my birthday here without my family for the first time. =)

How’s everybody over there? Well, it’s a week since we left Australia.
In the past few days, we’ve gone to a few outreaches.
Just yesterday, we went to St. Antonio where there is a great view of Mayon volcano.
On our way there, we went passed the location where the typhoon hit the most. Seeing people pick up the ruins, clean up the things it destroyed, it was REALLY inspiring to see that the people move on with their les despite the whole disaster situation. They all had a GREAT BIG smile on their faces and still put ALL their faith in God.

Today is YOUTH CAMP. Seeing the Youth Rally, where everyone had so much energy for God, the youth camp will be such a BLAST. The Youth Rally was just FUN because people screamed, jumped, sang add CROWD SURFED too. [Well, Jerome did.]
So I’m really looking forward to what happens at the Youth Camp.

Wells, we just came back from the youth camp. Which took place during April 4-7th.
It was awwwwwwwwwwwwwwesomeeeee ! I loved it.

Going on the youth camp means you have to split up from the missions team. It was good experience because I got to meet new people. It was also bad because I missed talking to everyone.

I was in tribe ASAHEL.
Which contains;
Jervee, Kuya Eldrin, Kuya Joven, Kuya Fernan, Ate Mariz, Ate Donna, Hemer and ME.

At first, we were all so shy. But the next day, we had this inside joke that only our tribe would get. It didn’t really make sense either.
It was fun as!

Even sleeping arrangements were mixed. One of those nights, I rolled off my bed and got kicked in the head which really woke me up.

On the Saturday we left, we went to the resort. I didn’t get to go into the water because of I was sick and my hair. But I guess I still had fun.

Anyways! Kuya Raffy wants me to join a dance. So I should get going.

TO MY LOVED ONES; It’s my birthday tomorrow! I’ll be thinking of you! =)
